Postpartum Doula - Lauren Cohen

The name Copper River comes from a powerful river in Alaska, where I was born and raised. Growing up in this very special place, nurtured a great sense of adventure which I carry with me to this day. In my late twenties, multiple friends suggested I become a Doula, as it would be a good fit for my natural care-taking tendencies. I studied through DONA and completed my Birth Doula training. When I became a mother and experienced my own journey through Postpartum, I realized there was a real need for support during this vulnerable time. I combined my love of plants and herbal studies with my desire to support mothers, and created all the Postpartum Care products I use and offer.

I currently reside in Olympia, WA with my nature loving six-year-old son. I serve the Olympia, Lacey, and Tumwater areas.
